We are starting to see spring on the horizon (could it be that winter is dragging on) and with it our desire to retrieve the clothes stored away for months and take a look at what will be worn this season. And why not, treat ourselves to a little something.
We tell you some of the trends for this season spring summer 2025.
Leading colors: pastel tones like pink, blue, and the lighter version of yellow, butter; citrus colors in lime green, yellow, and orange; the electric blue that we love so much; brown remains a key player in the basics along with navy blue making a strong entrance; white, an eternal classic; silver in metallics.
80s: structured tailored suits with a masculine cut (if you saw images from the Saint Laurent show, you know what we're talking about, and by the way, it was spectacular), puffed sleeves and shoulder pads will be present this season. It is a trend that you love it or you hate it.
Long and flowy bermuda shorts: we especially like it for the comfort this garment provides when it's hot, and because it works for any occasion: with a shirt and sandals it's very chic, and with a top and comfortable shoes you'll look cute on those sweltering days in the city.
Transparencies: combined with other fabrics in a layered form to adapt them to daily life, such as a skirt over pants that are more or less short depending on how much one wants to show. It's another trend that people either love or hate.
Outer garment color: Coats, jackets, and trench coats in bright colors. We couldn't like it more!
Prints: animal print, floral and tropical motifs, and geometric designs. Joy for the eyes! And let's not forget the nautical inspiration that, as every year, will be very present; it's a staple.
70's inspired Bohoflyers, flowers, feathers, fringes... but all much more refined, with an emphasis on details and prints.
Accessoriesxl in jewelry, glasses, and bags; we continue with loafers and ballet flats as comfortable shoes, and regarding sandals, they will be either thin-strapped or, on the other end, sporty.
Bags: leather continues to be the star for its beauty, elegance, and durability. The large bags and handbags, although this is subjective for us based on our day-to-day experiences.
These are some of the trends, and as we always say: Let's get started what we like and what we crave the most, regardless of trends, although it is always nice and fun to browse what is in style each season.
